‘RED MEAT’ selected for One Night Stand XII

Currently I’m working on developing a ‘One Night Stand’ television film (45′). Very exciting!

One Night Stand is part of the Deltaplan talent program. It is an initiative of Dutch public broadcasting associations NTR, VARA and VPRO, in collaboration with the Dutch Media Fund, the Dutch Film Fund and the National Broadcasters Co-production Fund (CoBo). The program offers young film makers a chance to develop a forty-five minute film. Together with 11 other film proposals ‘Rood Vlees/Red Meat’ was selected to go through to the second stage. Out of these 12 potential films, 6 will be selected to go into production by the end of the year.

In short, Red Meat is a film about the violence resulting from segregation and polarisation within modern Dutch society. It investigates the way we live with, and relate to one another – or rather the ways in which we often tend not to.

I’m very happy to have been given this opportunity! You can read all about the One Night Stand program here
